Pelvic Floor: All-Inclusive Transformations

Healing your pelvic floor is about so much more than what you see on social media. It's a deeply personal journey that requires care, expertise, and a plan that's tailored just for you.

That's why I create customized pelvic floor programs that meet you exactly where you are and guide you every step of the way toward feeling strong, confident, and healthy! Together, we'll address your unique needs and help you regain control, so you can live your life without limitations.

What does "All-Inclusive Transformation Mean?"

Healing Habits

Holistic Management

Holistic Management

You may not realize how involved your habits are in healing your pelvic floor: Expert coaching through neurological retraining will help your symptoms improve.

Holistic Management

Your recovery is "whole body". All your body's systems are connected and to make a transformative recovery, you must approach your care from all angles.

Movement Guidance

Movement plays a huge roll in how you recover. Build strength, improve your mind-body awareness and become self-sufficient in your wellness journey.

Common Pelvic Floor Concerns

Urinary Incontinence

At any stage in life you may experience urinary incontinence. It may not be due to pelvic floor weakness and simply doing more Kegels isn't going to correct the issue. In fact, it may even make things worse! A therapist's evaluation will provide a clear understanding of why you are experiencing incontinence and the path needed to correct it.

Pregnancy

Learn how the demands of pregnancy challenge your body in different ways. Prepare for childbirth and the postpartum experience. During this time your body may experience aches and pains you never had before. We can work together to find a way for you to continue the tasks needed to prepare for a newborn.

Postpartum

Pain with Intercourse

Experiencing changes to your body postpartum can be very frustrating. Especially when you are having to meet the demands required to take care of a newborn. Please don't wait till your 6 week checkup to take action and prepare your body for the steps ahead! There is much more to "return to activity" than a healed tear/stitches.  I can guide you through the appropriate steps that cater to your specific needs!

Pain with Intercourse

High Intensity Training

Pain with Intercourse

There are many different causes for pain during intercourse. Sometimes it's postpartum due to scar tissue, pelvic floor tension, stress that's carried in the body, poor mechanics/mobility etc. A full assessment can point you in the right direction for your specific recovery needs.

High Intensity Training

High Intensity Training

It's quite common for individuals who are not pregnant or postpartum to feel the effects of urinary incontinence, especially if you are lifting weights or participating in high intensity activities. During your evaluation and treatment sessions we discuss how to manage these symptoms.

Prevention

Prevention really is the best intervention. If you are an active individual, or someone who may become pregnant in the future it is never too early to become more aware of your body and potential weaknesses before any issues arise!
